AES :: POST GRADUATE INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

The library has literature predominantly related to management and its allied subjects. The library has a hybrid collection of printed as well as electronic resources which includes books (more than 6500 books), international journals (more than 20), periodicals (more than 50), audio-visuals, CD/DVD’s, reports, database and case studies. It aims to develop a comprehensive collection of resources which are useful for academic and research purposes

AES PGIBM is also an institutional member of the Vikram Sarabhai Library at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and The British Library, Ahmedabad. The faculty can therefore access a vast collection of books, research publications and other electronic publications. The student’s also have access to library’s of sister Institutes, like H.L. Commerce College , H.L. BBA etc.

A User friendly library software called Soul has been installed at the Library Resource Centre so as to make it fully automated. This software facilitates automated circulation (issue & return) of the books and speedy access to bibliographies as well as checking the availability of the books stocked in the library.

Apart from this the centre has rich resources in the form of CDS & DVDS, barcode scanner etc.

The Library Resource centre has started building a collection of e books and e journals with a view to developing a full-fledged digital Library.
